Japanese Class
September - June
Monday 12:30am - 2:30am
Thursday 4:00pm - 6:00pm
The Japanese class is open to children 3 - 9.  Class admission requires children to have fluent spoken Japanese and listening with some writing. Three and four years old specially requires that Japanese be their first language.  Ideally, children have one of the parents being native Japanese so they learn Japanese naturally in their daily life.  The teacher follows the Japanese elementary school  curriculum.  Contact Akemi Yamada at akmy9@hotmail.com or Masako Fujiyama at masakofujiyama@hotmail.com if you have additional questions or would like to have your child take an entry test.

Gentle Yoga

Class begins with a brief centering, breath awareness, and gentle warm-ups. The heart of the class includes invigorating flowing sequences of traditional Hatha yoga postures. Posture modifications are offered based on individual needs. 

Mat Pilates

The secret to a strong, sexy body is a strong core. It is essential to all movement, and this class requires just a thick yoga or Pilates mat, water, and a yoga strap if you have one.  We work the body through a very effective series of core exercises designed by Joseph Pilates which are executed both standing and on the mat. We work every muscle and lengthen every part of the body to create a toned, balanced, and strong physique.  We also stress the effectiveness of connecting your breath to the movement for the most effective workout for both your mind and body. No previous experience necessary.

Get ready to take your fitness to the next level with this high-energy class that blends plyometric cardio circuits, free-weights, and core-sculpting moves. Circuit training is the most effective way to get into shape fast! Get ready to blast fat and increase your overall body tone to create the body you always wanted. Each week the routine changes to keep your muscles in a state of confusion.  Bring a mat, a pair of 5 lb dumbbells, water and get ready to rock your way to your best body ever! 

Barre Body Shaping

This class is designed to challenge the entire body with compound movements using free-weights and Pilates. High repetitions and dance inspired isometric movements will sculpt your body to a more toned, strong physique. Circuits using the benches as our personal “ballet barre” will keep you inspired, and core moves will become more challenging each week as you become stronger. This class also requires a mat, a pair of 5 lb dumbbells, and  water.
